Take a look at these images from the 2009 Sporting Gun Clubman Competition, which, as always, produced a thrilling finale.
Under the ever-watchful eyes of the super-efficient Doveridge SG organising team, the two-day competition ran as smoothly as ever, resulting in a thrilling one-on-one between the two top guns.
With two Guns recording a score of 70 over the three layouts, a shoot off raised the tension further.
Consistent shooting from both parties - 24/30 - meant a sudden death shoot was required, with the final discipline (picked from a hat) being DTL. Shot by shot, with the tension mounting and pulses racing, Ian Woodiffe claimed the title after just five targets.
As always, our sincere thanks to all the sponsors and the Doveridge team who helped make this a great event. See you next year!
