Due to increasing restraints imposed upon the wildfowling community by government and non-elected government agencies, the Rockland Wildfowlers' Association have no option but to buy the freehold to their own shooting reserves.
This takes huge resources and they must raise as much money as possible to assist in their land acquisition strategy to preserve our pastime for future generations.
The Rockland Wildfowlers' Association are running a national sporting auction on their website from June 29th to July 13th.
The format will be similar to eBay.
You will be required to log in with a password and email address.
Bidding will be automated and you will be notified automatically if you have been outbid.
Lots include generously donated shooting permits from around the country - so check for your area, also deer stalking, a stage hypnotist for an evening, guided pike fishing on the Broads, Norfolk ferreting, original artwork from Simon Trinder and John Paley plus much more.
The Rockland Wildfowlers' Association would also welcome the offer of any donated lots from all members of the shooting fraternity or anybody that wants to play their part in reversing this demonisation of countryside activities.
Lots may or may not be shooting related; if you have anything to offer - even if you think it's mundane, somebody is sure to be interested in bidding for it - please use contact link above.
