More than 300 shooting enthusiasts have helped raise more than £135,000 at the annual Prince's Trust Clay Pigeon Shoot, at Auchterhouse Country Sports, near Dundee.

During the 9 years the shooting has been held, it has raised a staggering £1.4 million for the youth charity in Scotland.

Organised and hosted by Gerard Eadie, vice Chairman of the Prince's Trust Scotland, the day saw 36 teams shoot a 60 bird Sporting, a 40 bird Flush and the Flypast.

There were plenty of prizes, too, with 11 categories, including top Game Shot Flush Team, won by the Hunter Boot Ltd team, and Top Amateur Team, won by RAF Leuchars.

Ad agency Leith won Top Amateur Flush for the second consecutive year, while James Keiller estates retained the Top Professional Team trophy.

Other notable winners include Murdie Smith who won Top Professional Gun, Anne Gardner from CR Smith, who won Top Lady and Irish team, Guns Unlimited, hosted by Donal McCloy, which won Top Game Shot Team.

As well as shooting, there was a demonstration by the Nick Nairn cookery school, a performance by tenors, Incognito, and fashion and hair shows.

Guests also enjoyed a three-course dinner while the main fundraising activities took place, including a raffle for a mini Cooper Convertible and both a silent and traditional auction.

The top auction prizes included dinner for 10 with leading Scottish crime writer Ian Rankin and a lithograph of a watercolour painted by HRH Prince of Wales.
