Roy Green of Altrincham Rifle and Pistol Club has been presented with the National Shooting Week Award in recognition of the club’s record in introducing newcomers to the sport.
Speaking at the recent Tackle & Guns Show awards, the Countryside Alliance’s shooting campaign manager, David Taylor, said: “National Shooting Week has been running for many years, and a number of clubs have seized the opportunity to promote shooting. What Roy and his team have done to encourage newcomers at Altrincham will help to secure shooting’s future.”
