As part of BASC’s Taste of Game Season, the Northern regional team will join former Coronation Street star Charlie Lawson (Jim McDonald) and his partner Debbie Stanley for free game tasting at their farm shop in Prestbury Village, Cheshire.

People are invited to visit the shop on 3rd December between 10am and 2pm to try a taste of game and do some Christmas shopping. Barbecued game will be available.

BASC’s Jean Pugh said: “There is no mystery to cooking game, it’s as simple as any other meat. Come along and join us and we will show you how. Game is a wonderful and tasty low fat food.”

Charlie is a longstanding member of BASC and a keen game shot and stalker.
